Puppy Toilet Training Corner Before Full Vaccination in a Studio

Bringing our puppy, Teddy, home meant rearranging our studio before we had even unpacked his toys.

After discussing local infection risks with our vet, we set up a temporary indoor toilet tray on a washable floor protector, away from his bed and bowls. We rolled up the rug and moved a chair so we could reach the tray quickly after naps.

Keeping the toilet spot in one place helped more than constantly moving it somewhere less visible. We rewarded him calmly when he used it and cleaned accidents without making a fuss.

Once our vet advised that outdoor toilet trips were appropriate, we began the transition. The rug returned much later than the chair.
