A dachshund, a desk and 24 m²
I work from home in a 24 m² apartment in Seoul with Kongi, a five-year-old dachshund. People assume a dog in a small flat means a sad dog. What it really means is a very structured day.\n\nWe walk before I open my laptop, again at lunch, and a long one in the evening. Inside, she has one soft place near my chair and a folded blanket by the door where she watches the corridor. That is her whole territory and she loves it.\n\nThe hardest part was not space. It was noise — thin walls and a dog who wanted to announce every neighbour. A radio on low and treats for silence took about three weeks to work.
