Kind, honest, useful
Everything here is reviewed by a moderator before publishing. These are the things we look for.

Write from your own life
Share what you have actually experienced in your own home. Honest and specific beats general advice every time.

Be kind, especially about small homes
No shaming people for their space, income, country or choices. Disagree with the setup, never with the person.

Animal welfare comes first
Nothing that encourages neglect, cruelty, unsafe confinement or impulse buying. We remove it and we do not debate it.

No veterinary or legal advice
You can say what a vet told you. You cannot diagnose or prescribe. For anything urgent, we always point people to a vet.

No selling, no spam
No affiliate links, shops, breeders, giveaways or promotion. Mentioning a product that genuinely helped you is fine.

Only your own photos
Upload photos you took, of animals and homes you have permission to show. No people's faces without their consent.

Protect privacy
Do not post addresses, exact locations, phone numbers or other people's details. Your email stays private with us.

Any language is welcome
Write in the language you think in. Tell us which one and we will label it so readers know.
How moderation works
Every story, question and reply is read by a human moderator before it appears anywhere on the site. Nothing is published automatically.
What we check
We look for kindness, safety and honesty. We check that the writing describes the author's own experience, that no personal details of other people are exposed, that photos belong to the person submitting them, and that nothing encourages neglect, cruelty, unsafe confinement or impulse buying.
What we remove
We remove anything that promotes cruelty, sells or promotes products and breeders, attacks a person, gives veterinary or legal instructions, or shares private information. We may also edit lightly for clarity, spelling and formatting — never to change the meaning of what someone wrote.
How long it takes
Reviews are done by people, so timing varies. If something needs a clarification, we write to the email address given with the submission before publishing.
Reports and takedowns
Use the report link at the bottom of any published story, question or reply. Reports go straight to the moderation queue and a post can be hidden while we look into it. Authors can ask for their own contribution to be unpublished or deleted at any time through the contact form.
Appeals
If something of yours was not published, or was removed, write to us through the contact form and a moderator will explain the decision and reconsider it.
