Your data, plainly explained

What we ask for

When you send a story, question or reply we ask for the name you want shown, your email address, your region, and optional details about your home and animals. Photos are optional.

What is public

Your display name, your text, your region and country, your home and animal details, your topics and any photos you upload become public once a moderator approves them. Your email address is never shown on the site and is never sold or shared.

Why we keep your email

We use it to contact you about your own post — for example to tell you a reply to your question has been published, or to ask a question before approving something.

Photos

Uploaded photos are stored privately and only served with short-lived links from published posts. We ask you to confirm the photos are yours before publishing them.

Removal

You can ask us to unpublish or delete anything you submitted, including your email address. Write to hello@petsinwonderland.com from the address you used, or use the report link on the post. We action removal requests as a priority.

Cookies

The public site does not set advertising or tracking cookies. Moderators who sign in to the admin area have a session stored in their own browser.
