Two cats in a 19 m² studio

When I moved into my 19 m² studio in Lisbon. I was convinced I would have to rehome one of my cats. Two years later they are both here and honestly, calmer than before.

What changed everything was going vertical. A tall shelf next to the window became their observation deck and a second shelf above the wardrobe gave the shy one a place to disappear to. They almost never use the floor now, which means the floor is still mine.

Feeding in two separate corners stopped the small squabbles. I also learned to close the kitchen at night — not for their safety, but for my sleep.
