Two cats in a 19 m² studio

When I moved into my 19 m² studio in Lisbon I was convinced I would have to rehome one of my cats. Two years later they are both here and, honestly, calmer than before.\n\nWhat changed everything was going vertical. A tall shelf next to the window became their observation deck, and a second shelf above the wardrobe gave the shy one a place to disappear to. They almost never use the floor now, which means the floor is still mine.\n\nFeeding in two separate corners stopped the small squabbles. And I learned to close the kitchen at night — not for their safety, for my sleep.
