Adopting a senior cat for a 9 m² room

My room in São Paulo is 9 m². The shelter suggested a senior cat and it was the best advice I have ever been given.\n\nOswaldo is eleven. He sleeps eighteen hours a day, wants a warm lap and a heated blanket, and has no interest in climbing anything. A younger cat would have been miserable here.\n\nIf you live somewhere very small, please talk to your local shelter about older animals. There are a lot of them waiting and they ask for so little.
