Studio — Making room for two guinea pigs

When we brought home our two guinea pigs, Pippa and Daisy, we realised our coffee table occupied the best place for their enclosure. We sold it and rearranged the armchairs, leaving room for a large pen with a waterproof base, washable liners and separate hiding places. Their hay and spare bedding went into storage boxes under our bed.

The biggest improvement was leaving enough space beside the pen to clean it comfortably. Before that, every tidy-up involved moving furniture.

We now drink coffee at a little folding table, usually with two guinea pigs squeaking whenever somebody opens the fridge.
