Free-roaming rabbits in a shared flat room

I rent one room in a shared flat in Nairobi and my two rabbits live free-range inside it. No cage at all.\n\nThe room is about 14 m². I gave up a bookcase and built a low platform instead, with a hidden litter tray underneath and hay on top. Cardboard tunnels get replaced every couple of weeks — they are free and the rabbits prefer them to anything I have bought.\n\nCable protection is not optional. Everything is inside split tubing, and I learned that the hard way with a phone charger.
